La National Film Chamber Orchestra is an ensamble specialized in music for silent films.
Directed by
argentinean guitarist Fernando Kabusacki, colaborates with Fernando Martin Peña and Filmoteca Buenos Aires since
1991.
Lineups are always changing and the list of guests and members have included
musicians of different backgrounds such as Matias Mango, Cesar Franov, Mono Fontana, Fernando Samalea, Charly
Garcia, Fito Paez, Juana Molina, Axel Krygier, Alejandro Franov,
Santiago Vazquez, Juan Ravioli, Migue Garcia, Wenchi Lazo, Mussa Phelps,
Marcos Cabezas, Maria Eva Albistur, Pablo Dawidowicz, Arre Ensamble de Cello, Sergio Bulgakov,
DJ Marfany, Franco Fontanarrosa, Lautaro Guida, Wenchi Lazo and Martin Iannaconne
among many others.
La National Film Chamber Orchestra released "Murnau's Faust Live" and prepares new CD releases for 2012. Currently plays live at Malba (Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires) and at Canal 7 TV Argentina, in the program Filmoteca presented by Fernando Martin Peña and Fabio Manes.
